National Voter Registration Day

The League of Women Voters of the Greater Dayton Area (LWVGDA) received one of eight national grants to support activities that will take place on National Voter Registration Day on Tuesday, 28 September 2021. National Voter Registration Day is a nonpartisan civic holiday that celebrates our democracy. First observed in 2012, nearly 6 million citizens have been registered to vote on the holiday to date.

This year’s theme is “Be Vocal. Vote Local.” League members and volunteers will “hit the streets” throughout Greene and Montgomery Counties between 10 pm and 2 pm to register voters, update their personal information and to answer questions about ways to vote. Look for registration tables at:

  • Fairborn Branch of the Greene County Library: 1 E. Main Street, Fairborn
  • Gem City Market: 324 Salem Avenue, Dayton

  • Interpreters for the Deaf: 732 S. Ludlow, Dayton (10 am- Noon, an interpreter will be available)
